Many people think that green seal certified chemicals are something you need to use all the time for everything. Do not get me wrong I love green seal certified chemicals, but depending on the industry you are in, you need to know when and how to use any kind of chemical compound. Lately, green chemicals are more present in our day-to-day life. When using these products, just like with any traditional chemical products, it is essential to follow the instructions the manufacturer provides. The personnel using it must also know the right way to use it if we want to achieve the best results.

The green movement is all about the imprint it is going to leave on the environment. When green chemicals are applied correctly, they are supposed to decompose completely without leaving any harmful residual substances. For example, peracetic acid (CH3CO3H) is one of the best disinfectants in the market, it is basically a combination of vinegar (CH3COOH) and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and it decomposes as water. Excellent! However, it is very unstable and corrosive. 

In any industry, you need to consider all the aspects to solve a problem. There is not one solution that will fix all, several factors need to be considered. Some of these include production time, the right proportion of product to use, downtime, local and federal regulations, training of the personnel and supervision. These must be included in the decision process on choosing what the best approach for your specific industry is.
